jRO Recieves Castle Treasure Changes

jRO this week was struck by a suprise update, an update to the castle treasure drops for all existing realms. Supposedly this update was given on kRO relatively recently; it was listed in one of the recent kRO updates. I presume the two updates are the one and the same. Unfortunately I havn’t heard much from kRO players about the changes at all. But now that jRO has recieved it, I have decided to report on findings.

There are two types of treasure chests in the castle. The basic one, that is shared by all castle, remains unchanged. This chest gives diamond, ygg seed, ygg berry, muffler, shoes, chainmail, buckler, oca. The second chest contains drops unique to the castle, and this one is updated now. Previously, the drop paturn of these chests was as follows:

God Item Piece (0.8%), Tribal Solidarity (5%), Dead Branch (100%), Elunium (75%), Oridecon (50%), Specialty Item 1, Specialty Item 2, Specialty Item 3

The specialty items vary in drop rate and item obtained from castle to castle. These items are generally unique for each castle. However, after the cange, the drops appear like this:

God Item Piece (0.8%), Tribal Solidarity (5%), Treasure Box (100%), Treasure Box (75%), Treasure Box (50%), Specialty Item 1, Specialty Item 2, Specialty Item 3

These treasure boxes are regular etc items, which can actually be sold to the NPC for 150,000 zeny (more with overcharge). While it means less dbs and elu/ori, what it does mean is generally much more money is created for guild leaders directly. Currently its speculated that the third specialty item slot is currently replaced with Old Card Album, but there’s no proof as of yet.

В 2 словах и для тех, кто по-английски не очень - в замках есть 2 типа сундуков. С первых дроп стандартный всегда - брильянт 3 карата, семя и ягоды иггдрасиля, кашне(1), ботинки(1), кольчуга(1), круглый щит(1), старый карточный альбом.
Со вторых сундуков уникальный дроп. В данный момент он таков - ГЛ лутинка (0.8%), Союз Племени (5%), Сухая ветка (100%), Элуниум (75%), Оридекон (50%), Спецвещь 1, Спецвещь 2, Спецвещь 3. Так вот, сейчас эти спецвещи - клюшка для пристов, военный топор(1) и т.д., и будут заменены на то, что описано выше. Т.е. с Линды будут падать Валящит(1) и лук Драконово Крыло, с Хиделя - наплечники(1), с КБ - слотовый инфиль.
Скорее всего апдейт установят одновременно с 11.3.
